First Post!

Hey Hey Everyone!
I finally got around to creating another blog for my next trip! Everyone seemed to like the Australia one, so I'll do my best to keep people interested in this one too...

First off, I'll get everyone up to speed on my trip (plans have been changing a little - ie no more south america). I am going to Thailand for about a month then off to New Zealand to work for about 6 months to a year, hopefully I'll get a chance to stop in Australia again too!

I leave on Oct 29th (my B-day!) from Saskatoon on a quick 3hr flight to Vancouver, then an 11hr flight to Seoul, Korea, then a 6hr flight to Phuket, Thailand. That's said "Poo-ket", not "fu-ket" by the way. Thats 27hrs of traveling, and 20hrs sitting in a plane... by myself. Happy Birthday me! haha.

I'm planning on spending about a month in Thailand, and hopefully I'll get a chance to visit Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and maybe even the Philippines while I'm there. All that I really have planned in Thailand is getting my PADI scuba diving certs and hopefully going to the "full moon party". Other than that we'll see where I end up, but I'm guessing visiting many beaches, seeing some beautiful places and meeting other crazy travellers will be involved...

After Thailand I should be arriving in New Zealand the first week of December. Depending on how much money I end up spending in Thailand I may be finding a job right away, or doing some more touring around NZ. I should be able to find a nice balance of both I think.
